Di Bell is a passionate student of the arts whose creative journey began in Central Queensland in 1998 with the Rolleston Painting Group.
She developed her early practice through Flying Arts workshops, and went on to serve as a regional representative, participating in standout sessions such as the 2005 Magnetic Island workshop.
In 2000, she attended McGregor Summer School at the University of Toowoomba, studying under Sharon Muir. This foundational experience cemented her commitment to the visual arts. She later joined Maranoa Artists Inc. in Roma, actively engaging in workshops and annual Easter Art Competitions.
A pivotal moment came in 2006 with an art tour and workshop in Italy led by Gold Coast teacher Lucja Ray—an experience that broadened her artistic perspective. After relocating to Ballina in 2005, she continued her development under the guidance of respected regional tutors.
She remains deeply committed to lifelong learning, regularly attending tutorials with the Lismore Art Club and Byron School of Arts. Her work celebrates life through creative expression, and she finds great joy in sharing her artistic passion with others.
