Margaret has always loved drawing, but art, as a career, was firmly discouraged and it wasn’t until retirement that her inclination for capturing visual pictures was given a chance to develop. Her love of the outdoors has led much of her work to be carried out in the plein air and she is never happier than when setting up her easel by the roadside or sitting on a log sketching.
Margaret has exhibited in many venues. Her works have attracted over 160 awards and hang in many private collections. The public collections of Suncorp, Richmond Shire Council and Lismore Workers Club feature Margaret’s work. She also tutors in Northern NSW and Auckland New Zealand.
